Social Groups & Camps

Our structured Social Skills Groups focus on building confidence and capability in group settings. Through play-based activities, cooperative games, and therapist-facilitated discussions, children learn how to:

• Recognize and respond to social cues
   
• Initiate and sustain conversations
   
• Navigate group play and collaborative problem-solving
   
• Take perspective and manage emotions with peers
   

Our Camps provide a blend of structured and unstructured group activities tailored to each age group and developmental focus. Activities may include:

• Creative arts, crafts, and themed projects
   
• Team challenges and cooperative games
   
• Outdoor play and exploration
   
• Skill-building stations to practice communication and turn-taking
   

All camp experiences are facilitated by trained professionals who blend therapeutic supports with joyful, child-centered experiences. 

 Supporting picky eating, food refusal, or unsafe swallowing habits 

 Creating routines to reduce bedtime battles and night waking 

 Building confidence in brushing teeth, hand washing, dressing, and other daily routines 

 Teaching strategies to manage frustration, anxiety, or big feelings 

 Expanding ways to express needs, play with peers, and build friendships 

 Encouraging cooperation, following routines, and increasing focus on learning 

 Collaborating with teachers and attending meetings to ensure your child’s school plan reflects their needs 

 Helping families apply for Autism Funding Unit (AFU) approval to purchase specialized equipment and supplies 

 Working alongside SLPs, OTs, teachers, and other professionals to create consistency across settings 

Our goal is to give families the tools and confidence to support their child’s growth, both during therapy and in everyday life.
